Its absolute rubbish. 45w per channel? Its less than half that, at best. The onboard GPS device constantly needs resetting. You just cant jump in your car, pop in a postcode (TomTom only has 4 digit postcodes, so wont get you anywhere useful unless you pop in the full street name etc). This unit will sit and wait and reset and wait and poweroff and reset... Then your driving along and bam! Satnav kicks in when it feels like it. I have driven over 80miles before it decided to find a signal. Its been fun to use for a few days, but its going to be ripped out of my car this weekend and replaced with an Alpine unit. Then, I am gonna stick a screwdriver through its screen and send it back. There is no issue with TomTom itself, the software has been great, but the onboard GPS device keeps spazzing out every 5mins. This unit is just like all the other cheap double din rubbish on the market, but with much better advertising. I really desperately wanted an Xtrons after seeing the videos on youtube etc but mine is flawed. I havent heard such a quiet HiFi since I drove a Daewoo Lanos years ago. The Xtrons cant even give a good signal to my AMP/SUB so no sub woofers... Even changing the cables didnt make any difference. My Xtrons gets HOT. I mean, really hot. The back of the screen isnt warm to the touch its baking hot! Eject a disk or SD card and you'll think "this is way too hot, how does this unit not destroy everything that goes into it".
